South Carolina State House June 2, 2010


Columbia, SC - 19 year old Rising NASCAR driver Jordan Anderson of Forest Acres, South Carolina will be honored with the presentation of ‘The Palmetto Patriot Award’ by Lieutenant Governor Andre' Bauer at the South Carolina State House on June 2nd, 2010 at 1:45 PM. The Palmetto Patriot Award is the highest award the Lieutenant Governor can bestow.

 

Anderson, who just finished his freshman year as a student at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, North Carolina and is under the tutelage of past Charlotte Motor Speedway president H.A. ‘Humpy’ Wheeler, currently races in the NDRA Dirt Late Model series and travels to tracks throughout the east coast. He is currently the points leader at the Carolina Speedway, located in Gastonia, North Carolina after collecting two wins at the track this year.
