Tuesday's Race Recap
LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY
--
Jordan Anderson was "in the groove" Tuesday night as
he started off right by winning his qualifying race
early in the day, which would give Jordan the 4th
place starting spot. When the green flag came out,
Jordan fell back a few positions, but as the race
went on he had worked his way back up to 3rd place.
After a caution came out late in the race, Jordan
was passed by two cars only to pass them back in a
few laps. Coming to the checkered flag, Jordan made
a move on the 3rd place car but fell short a few
inches. The 4th place finish gave Jordan a solid
points night keeping him in the 3rd place in points.
“It was a close one,” said Anderson about the race.
“I looked when I got in here (in the tech area) up
on the scoreboard and they had me in third. When I
crossed the finish line I looked to my right and was
praying I would beat him, but that is how close it
was.”
“If you saw the top five in the race tonight, these
are the true Pro racers,” said Anderson. “We didn’t
have a lot of stupid rough driving going on out
there tonight. Maybe there was a little bumping in
the corners but other than that it was a good clean
race. These are good drivers out here and it is
good to be a part of the Shootout and the Sizzler.”
