Friday's Write-up

 

Friday included qualifying and  heat races which would determine starting spots for Saturday's National Race. Jordan was the 17th car out for qualifying and laid down the 4th fastest lap out of the cars qualifying for the race. Since there were 4 heat races and Jordan qualified 4th, he would start dead last in the 4th heat race(14th).  As the green flag flew Jordan was already moving through the pack and on lap 4 of the 12 lap heat race Jordan was in the lead. Jordan continued on and won his heat race placing him on the outside pole for Saturday's race.
