With
Experience Comes Speed for Anderson
-- Friday night at Carolina Speedway Jordan
proved that it will only be a matter of time before he
visits victory lane --
Albert Einstein once stated that “The only
source of knowledge is experience." That quote applied directly to
Jordan Anderson's night at Carolina Speedway on Friday Night.
After a solid 6th place finish the week
before in his 2nd dirt late model race Anderson was out to gain more
experience and an understanding of dirt track racing.
"For me as a driver, I feel that venturing
into a different realm of racing, in this case dirt racing, is truly
strengthening my ability as a driver" Anderson said before his heat race
Friday night. "I have been amazed at how much I have learned in such a
short period of time. Not only am I learning an incredible amount, but I
am having a great time putting on a show in front of such a great crowd
here at Carolina Speedway."
In the heat race, Anderson was able to
become more acquainted with the carolina clay on the racetrack and
fought his way into the 4th spot, which provided him with a 7th place
start for the feature.
Building on the experience of the last two
races, Jordan Anderson was looking forward to the feature. With new
things being learned each week this race was simply another opportunity
to learn more.
When the green flag fell the field was off.
After just a half lap, there was a spin towards the rear of the field
causing another restart for the race. Once the field got going again,
Anderson and the others were off. As the laps began to count down, the
#19 car began to hand with the top cars and started gaining ground on
the cars in front of him. When the checkered flag flew, Anderson was
running good and snagged another 6th place finish for the 2009 season.
In only his 3rd dirt late model start Anderson seems to be adjusting
well to the dirt realm of racing.

Gastonia, North Carolina.
