at Lowe's Motor Speedway

Speedway
Quaker Steak & Lube Summer
Shootout veterans Jordan Anderson, John Sossoman and Thomas
Van Wingerden were among the feature winners Tuesday night
as 218 race cars filled the Lowe's Motor Speedway pit area
when Toyota of Concord presented opening night of the
10-week series.
Anderson, the defending Pull-A-Part Legends Car Pro
division champion, showed he has every intention of claiming
another title as the 17-year-old racer led the 20-lap
feature for the series' premier division from flag-to-flag.
Steven Ross chased Anderson, of Forest Acres, S.C., across
the stripe to claim second-place money while Chris Buescher
finished third in the 28-car field.
In Victory Lane Anderson had
this to say "I Just have to give all the glory to God after
that one. This City Of Forest Acres Legends Car ran great
thanks to all the guys on the TEAM NPR pit crew; Nick,
Chase, Gerald, Bert, and Dwayne. Everyone worked hard and
the results show it. I've just go to sit back and say, Wow!
What an incredible night. With the stiff competition here at
the Summer Shootout Series, It feels great to win both the
pole and the feature race here in Week 1."
After winning both the Pro
division championship last year and the final two races of
the Summer Shootout last year, the win was Anderson's third
in a row at the speedway. "It's feels awesome to be here in
Victory Lane here again. With both the City Of Forest Acres
and Dick Dyer Toyota coming onboard as major sponsors again,
along with Leon Jones Insurance I think this is the best way
to represent them. Along with those guys I've got to thank
Suburban Extended Stay Hotels for coming back on board for
another season, I slept at the hotel last night and got a
great night's sleep and feel great today"
Along with the aforementioned
sponsors Jordan Anderson Racing is supported by the Forest
Acres Restaurant and Merchants Association, Green
Orthodontics, The Moore Clinic, Automotive Recovery
Services, Palmetto Galleries, B & N Garage, along with many
other great partners.
Round Two of the Summer Shootout
takes place Tuesday night, June 17 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Come out and watch Jordan go for four in a row. Gates open
at 5 p.m. with feature racing at 7:30.
