CONCORD, N.C. - After winning the Summer Shootout opener,
17-year-old Jordan Anderson
has suffered through six laborious weeks of being shut out
of victory lane. On Night #8, the stars aligned for the
defending Legends Pro champ.
The Forest Acres, S.C. prospect powered past Nick Carey on
lap five and led the remaining 15 laps to claim the win in
the Legends Pro Division feature thanks to a strong
defensive showing, despite several inopportune caution
flags. Andrew Smith finished second followed by division
point leader Chris Buescher,
of Prosper, Tex., in third.
