Jordan Anderson lining up to
race at Concord Motorsport Park
April 6th: Concord, North
Carolina
During practice Jordan and his team struggled
to find the right setup for his #19 City of Forest Acres
Legends Car. “This is only our 4th race with this
car. Everything on it is practically brand new so my goal is
to go out there and do my best and bring home a solid
finish”
After starting 6th in his 8 lap
qualifying race, Jordan made a couple daring moves and
maneuvered his way through the field and landed a 2nd
place finish at the checkers. This 2nd place
finish would give Jordan the fourth spot in the race
line-up.
When the green flag flew over the field on
lap 1, Jordan was already peeking around the car in front of
him looking for another position. Unfortunately the other
car got a little out of shape, which held Jordan up a slight
amount – but just enough to send him back to the 7th
spot. For the rest of the race Jordan raced both smart and
hard and brought his car home in one piece. “ I feel really
good about the season is shaping up, to take what we have
and get a 4th I’m just extremely happy, and proud
of all the guys on the team that have gotten me to this
point.”
