Friday's Race Recap
CONCORD, NC -- Jordan Anderson took home his
third 2nd place finish Friday night at Concord
Motorsport Park. After starting 4th in his heat
race, Jordan quickly took over the lead and went on
to win his heat race which would place him starting
on the pole for the main race.
When the green flag fell over the Legends Cars to
start the race, Jordan was off like a rocket. Every
lap Jordan seemed to pull further and further away
from 2nd place after consistently running fast laps.
But on lap 13 when passing 2 lap cars, Jordan was
wrecked. During the caution flag, Jordan came into
the pits for his crew to check out his car and make
sure everything was alright. When he go the OK he
was back out on the track. After the restart, Jordan
was a man on a mission. With only a few laps to go
Jordan found himself in 2nd. Jordan was making a
move on the leader when the checkered flag flew, but
the race was cut 4 laps short due to time
constraints. Although he didn't get the actual win,
Jordan said it was like a victory for him being able
to come from the back to win. Jordan gave special
thanks to Jesus Christ for keeping him safe and the
entire Nick Pistone Racing crew.
