After starting 8th in
his heat race, Jordan battled back to finish 4th in
his heat race which would place him starting 4th for
the feature race.
When the race started
Jordan ran in 4th until lap 5, when he completed the
pass for 3rd place. When Jordan was passing for 2nd
on lap 15, Jordan and the other driver made contact
send the other driver spinning up the track, and
then back down into Jordan. Jordan had to come off
the track during the yellow flag, in order for his
crew to make sure his car was ok. When Jordan got
the thumbs up that his car was ok, he headed back
out on the track in 10th place, knowing all he could
do was pass as many cars as possible. In 10 laps,
Jordan came from 10th place to finish in the 4th
position, a very well earned finish under the nights
circumstances.
